High purity rhenium metal powder is a light gray metal powder made from agglomerated single crystals. We guarantee that our products have the highest purity, stability, and certified quality. It is soluble in dilute nitric acid or hydrogen peroxide solutions and insoluble in hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid. Rhenium, as a rare metal with special applications, plays an irreplaceable role in high-temperature alloys for aerospace engines. Rhenium is used to produce high-performance single crystal high-temperature alloys and applied to the blades of aerospace engines. It is an important strategic new material resource. Rhenium is highly stable at high temperatures, with low vapor pressure, wear resistance, and the ability to resist arc corrosion, making it an excellent material for automatic cleaning of electrical contacts.
