Dysprosium Fluoridespeciales usus in laser vitreo, phosphoro, dysprosio halide lampadis et etiam sicut materias crudas praecipuas ad faciendum Metallum Dysprosium conficiendum. Dysprosium in coniunctione cum Vanadium et aliis elementis adhibetur, in faciendo laserarum materias et commercii lucendi. Dysprosium est una e componentibus Terfenol-D, quae in transduces, resonatores mechanicas late bandas, et injectores liquidi fomes alta praecisio est. Dysprosium et eius compositiones valde obnoxiae magnetizationis, adhibentur in variis applicationibus notitia repono, sicut in disco duro.
