Analysis of rare earth market:

Today, the rare earth market continued its strong pattern, and the prices of mainstream products generally rose. Although the Spring Festival holiday has ended, the shortage of spot goods has not been alleviated, and the release of rigid demand from downstream has pushed the prices of oxides and metals to continue to rise. The market is active, the transaction volume has further increased, and the holders are quoting actively. At present, the average price of Praseodymium neodymium oxide is 431,800 yuan/ton, up 4,800 yuan/ton; the average price of praseodymium neodymium metalis 530,600 yuan/ton, up 6,500 yuan/ton. Downstream magnetic material companies are tentatively replenishing stocks, pushing the transaction price up. The average price of Dysprosium oxide is 1,719,500 yuan/ton, up 27,600 yuan/ton; the average price of Terbium oxide is 6,063,300 yuan/ton, up 75,300 yuan/ton, becoming the variety with the largest increase. Speculative purchases and rigid demand resonate to push up prices. Imports of Myanmar ore continue to be restricted, domestic ore prices have risen, separation plants have high production costs, and quotations are firm; metal plants are replenishing stocks and actively purchasing; magnetic material plants have relaxed their wait-and-see attitude and are inquiring for small batches, but they are still mainly "purchasing on demand" and have limited acceptance of high prices. The shortage of spot goods and high cost support have led to an increase in the voice of holders, and the market may show a feature of rising volume and price in the short term.
